‘Yes...yes, I will!’
Amy had just made Alex the happiest man
alive. The ruby on her finger was as red as his face had been with fear of
rejection. She gently clasped his face to pull him in for a kiss. The neatly
arranged diamonds, protecting the ruby, glistened on cue in the sunlight.
All around, onlookers clapped and cheered
as the couple embraced. Their cheers turned to laughter when Amy playfully
wiped the dirt from Alex’s knee. Behind them, the Manhattan skyline added to
the picture perfect moment.
